I know I’ve been quiet on here. Life has been busy! With the start of the new school year, we find ourselves engaged in lots of activities and I’m trying to find the new balance. Right now, I am teaching a beginning violin class on Monday and a Co-op class on Tuesday, the kids have choir and Liberty Girls on Wednesday, and we start Gymnastics this Friday. So far Thursday is free–there is a homeschool sports activity on Thursday afternoons that I’ve been tempted to go to, but I think we need one day when we just stay home.
Last week we had a wonderful time with some visiting family–we had 9 kids ages 8 and under in the house for 3 days! We love cousins. The same weekend I decided to re-finish our kitchen floor–OK, not my brightest idea, but it did get done. I’ve also been sewing a baptism dress for Honeybee, who is getting baptized this Saturday. I finished yesterday–I will post pictures as soon as I find the battery charger for my camera! It was a very simple pattern, which I needed because I’d never sewn a dress without help before. I have very minimal sewing experience.
